Better Description

The tile came promptly for a kitchen backsplash install (by homeowner). It has a smooth, nice, realistic marble look. The backing seemed extra sticky for good adhesion. Unfortunately, the tile is so thick, even a heavy-duty utility knife could not cut through the sheet of tile. Heavy-duty scissors could not cut the tile without chipping and shattering it. Consulting a tile person, they recommended using a wet saw to protect the tile from chipping and breaking. This was out of my expertise. And, once I realized the enormous problem I would also have getting the tile cut to fit around the outlets, I knew it could not be used for what I needed.
